4月10日（金）、本校の姉妹校である英国のHolme Grange SchoolのADAMS新校長が初めて本校をご訪問されました。当日は、本校教員全員で歓迎の意を込めてお出迎えいたしました。今回のご訪問では、先進SGコースの生徒たちが日頃の学習の成果を発揮し、大いに活躍してくれました。
- 2年生による堂々とした英語プレゼンテーション
第2学年先進SGコースの生徒たちは、ADAMS校長に向けて英語でプレゼンテーションを実施し、本校の特色や日本文化の魅力についてご紹介しました。2年生は昨年11月に同校への短期留学を経験しており、その学びが存分に生かされた、大変堂々とした立派な発表でした。

第1学年先進SGコースの生徒たちも参加し、先輩たちの頼もしい発表を見学しました。1年生は来年3月に同校への短期留学を控えており、これからの活動への意気込みを込めて、ADAMS校長へ英語で元気にご挨拶をさせていただきました。

最後に、ADAMS校長先生からご挨拶を賜りました。英語でのプレゼンテーションや挨拶に挑戦した生徒たちの勇姿に対し、大変温かいお褒めの言葉を頂戴いたしました。

Welcoming Mrs Adams, the New Headteacher of Holme Grange School
On Friday, 10th April, we were delighted to welcome Mrs Adams, the Headteacher of our British sister school, Holme Grange School, for her inaugural visit to our campus. The entire teaching staff gathered to extend an exceptionally warm welcome to her. Throughout the day, students from our Senshin-SG Course demonstrated the fruits of their daily studies with great distinction.
Formal Presentations by Year 10 Students
Our Year 10 Senshin-SG students delivered a series of presentations in English to Mrs Adams, showcasing the unique characteristics of our school and the enduring appeal of Japanese culture. Having undertaken a short-term study programme at Holme Grange last November, the students drew upon their experiences to deliver their speeches with remarkable poise and confidence.
A Warm Greeting from Year 9
The Year 9 Senshin-SG students also attended the event, observing their seniors’ impressive performances. With their own visit to Holme Grange scheduled for next March, they took the opportunity to introduce themselves to Mrs Adams in English, expressing their enthusiasm for the forthcoming exchange.
Gracious Words from Mrs Adams
Mrs Adams kindly addressed our students. She offered high praise and heart-warming encouragement for their courage and proficiency in presenting and greeting her in English.
